The weather is starting to change and jackets are starting to emerge on the fashion scene. One key piece for every guy’s fall/winter 2013 wardrobe is the classic bomber jacket.
This jacket has been popular ever since the United States military issued it in the 1950’s. The Shallotte of it hasn’t changed much with the passing decades but it has been reimagined with printed fabric. You will see these printed jackets in shows such as Dolce and Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Givenchy and Roberto Cavalli.
They come in a wide array of fabrics, ranging from wool and leather all the way to the original fabric, nylon. This is becoming a big must have for any style conscience gent.
Men’s fall/winter fashions usually consist of dark somber color and if the designer is feeling a little adventurous they may add some texture to the garment, but it’s nothing eye catching. This new trend is stepping all the way out of the Plain Joe’s comfort zone.
It’s all about prints this season in menswear. These print jackets can be incorporated in any guy’s personal style. It can range from urban chic all the way to preppy with a twist. It all depends on the print you may choose.
So I say to you stylish gents, step away from the average and leap into this adventurous trend.
